Our Mission.

We believe starting early and before our children are immersed in smartphones and social media will greatly increase our success in creating healthy digital habits and strong community values. This is a voluntary group for Croton families who are interested in connecting with like-minded parents/caregivers committed to: * Delaying or forgoing smartphones and social media for children * Advocating for phone-free classrooms and intentional tech use in schools * Fostering a local culture that values play, creativity, and real-world experiences. * Participating in initiatives such as “coffee chats” to share ideas and support one another * Welcome and guide any family, no matter their past choices toward healthier digital habits It is never too late for a family to adjust its approach to smartphones and social media. Please Note: This collective isn't affiliated with our school district, PTA, or any other business. It's a grassroots initiative for Croton families: parents, caregivers, and grandparents of all backgrounds and beliefs, united by common goals for our children. It's a safe space to share and support each other, free from politics or religion.
